At 2,770 metres above sea level, the Col de l'Iseran is just 12 metres higher than the Stelvio Pass in South Tyrol and Lombardy. Its slopes are far less winding, but the landscape is a high-alpine dream. The route is varied and extremely challenging, leading through barren yet green and rugged terrain.
