Alpen-Marathon: vielseitiges Slowenien – eine Reisereportage von den Alpenpässen hinunter zum Meer.

DIe zweite Ausgabe unserer Reisereportagen in 2021 – im Rahmen unserer Alpen-Marathon Reihe – führt uns nach Slowenien. In Slowenien beginnt der östliche Teil der Alpen. Zahlreiche Flüsse führen von den Alpen hinunter zum Meer. Wir sind unter anderen der Savinja gefolgt. Vom Seetaler Sattel über den Paulitschpass in das "grüne Tal" Sloweniens, der fünftgrößten Hopfengegend der Welt. Dort haben wir den ersten Bier-Springbrunnen der Welt besuchen müssen, waren zu Gast bei einem der jungen, kreativen Hopfenbauern Sloweniens und haben ein Motorrad-Museum besucht, dass so seinesgleichen sucht. Zudem haben wir den nördlichen Teil des bekanntesten Flusses Sloweniens bereist: die Soca. Hier haben wir den ersten Sommelier Sloweniens kennen gelernt, zugleich Besitzer eines 2-Sterne-Restaurants, und als Gegenstück Gastgeber eines typischen slowenischen Bistros mit traditioneller Küche. Übernachtet haben wir in einem Kamp, das vom Zeltplatz über Holz-Chalets bis hin zu Glamping jeden Reiselustigen begeistern wird. Natürlich waren wir auf dem Vrsic-Pass, und, und, und... Beeindruckende Landschafts- und Fahraufnahmen, interessante Interviews und Besuche... Slowenien hat so viel zu bieten, dass wir einen zweiten Teil gedreht haben. Vom höchsten Berg Sloweniens, dem Mangart, in die Weingegend und dann weiter bis ans Meer. Freut euch.

Motorcycle tours in the most beautiful regions of the Alps – discovery tours in the heart of Europe! The ‘Alpen-Marathon 7|6|50’ adventure turned into passion, and passion turned into a life’s work. We now produce 30-minute TV reports in which we present the alpine passes of the regions, visit places of interest and meet interesting local people – and every now and then we also try the local cuisine, as in the Slovenia reports or in 2024 in the two parts about the motorcycle pleasure tours in Carinthia.

We have now produced a total of 12 TV reports and will be visiting more regions in the Alps this year... and beyond.
This is how the report on West Pomerania came about, for example. The incentive: in Poland, you can ride off-road a lot and ride one of the highest sand dunes in Europe. We also visited the coolest military vehicle collector in the world there.
