Alpen-Marathon | TV-Reportage: Eine Motorrad-Kulinarik-Tour durch Kärnten (Teil 1)
In dieser Ausgabe unserer TV-Sendereihe “Alpen-Marathon” waren wir nochmals zu Gast im Motorradland Kärnten. Doch dieses Mal sollte der Fokus – neben schönen Touren auf bisher noch nicht gezeigten Alpenpässen – auf der “Slow-Food”-Philosophie In Österreichs südlichstem Bundesland liegen. Wir waren unterwegs vom westlichen Gailtal, über das Friaul bis in den Osten Kärntens, und weiter in den Norden, bis zum Katschberg. Unter anderen sind wir den Plöckenpass, die Forcella di Lius, den Passo Duron, Passo del Cason di Lanza, den Hochobir und, und, und… gefahren.
Wir waren zu Gast in einer besonderen Fischzucht, bei einem hoch-herrschaftlichem Speck-Produzenten und vielen weiteren Kulinarik-Stopps. wir, das ist das Team von SnapShortFilm, Tourguide Harry Pucher und Kärnter Motorrad-Enthusiasten wie Robert, Walter, Charly und Karin…
Teil 1 beginnt in Mauthen und endet am Schaidasattel. Viel Spaß.

Motorcycle tours in the most beautiful regions of the Alps – discovery tours in the heart of Europe! The ‘Alpen-Marathon 7|6|50’ adventure turned into passion, and passion turned into a life’s work. We now produce 30-minute TV reports in which we present the alpine passes of the regions, visit places of interest and meet interesting local people – and every now and then we also try the local cuisine, as in the Slovenia reports or in 2024 in the two parts about the motorcycle pleasure tours in Carinthia.
We have now produced a total of 12 TV reports and will be visiting more regions in the Alps this year... and beyond.
This is how the report on West Pomerania came about, for example. The incentive: in Poland, you can ride off-road a lot and ride one of the highest sand dunes in Europe. We also visited the coolest military vehicle collector in the world there.
