Alpen-Marathon TV reports – 30 minutes of entertainment with tour tips
Alpen-Marathon | Reise-Reportage: Motorradland Kärnten – Passstrecken von den Karnischen Alpen zu den Hochalpen (Teil 2).
Mit unserer TV-Reportage “Alpen-Marathon – 7 Tage, 6 Länder, 50 Pässe” waren wir im Juni 2022 zu Besuch im Motorradland Kärnten, dem südlichsten Bundesland Österreichs. Gefahren sind wir drei ganz unterschiedliche Motorrad-Touren:
• Tag 1: Eine Seen-Tour durch Kärnten mit seinen insgesamt 1270 Seen – viele davon liegen auf über 1000 Meter Höhe.
• Tag 2: Eine Tour durch die Karnischen Alpen über das Drei-Ländereck Österreich, Italien und Slowenien – über den Nassfeldpass, den Sella Nevea, Vrsic-Pass zum Wurzenpass, mit Stopps am Predilbunker und im Bunker-Museum am Wurzenpass (die größte ehemalige Bunkeranlage Österreichs)
• Tag 3: Eine Hochalpen-Tour über die Nockalmstraße mit ihren Passhöhen Schiestlscharte und Eisentalhöhe, und im weiteren über die Großglockner-Hochalpenstraße hinein ins Salzburgerland – mit Besuchen bei den Murmeltieren auf der Eisentalhöhe, im Porsche-Museum in Gmünd und auf der Kaiser-Franz-Josefshöhe

Wir, das ist die motorrad-fahrende Crew von SnapShortFilm, die für die Video-Plattform von motomovie.de die Idee des "Alpen-Marathon" in ein TV-Format umsetzt. Diese Ausgabe, Teil 2 zu “Motorradland Kärnten” ist bereits der 7. Film. Die 8. Reportage führte uns – im Juli 2022 - nach Italien, ins Friaul.

Motorcycle tours in the most beautiful regions of the Alps – discovery tours in the heart of Europe! The ‘Alpen-Marathon 7|6|50’ adventure turned into passion, and passion turned into a life’s work. We now produce 30-minute TV reports in which we present the alpine passes of the regions, visit places of interest and meet interesting local people – and every now and then we also try the local cuisine, as in the Slovenia reports or in 2024 in the two parts about the motorcycle pleasure tours in Carinthia.
We have now produced a total of 12 TV reports and will be visiting more regions in the Alps this year... and beyond.
This is how the report on West Pomerania came about, for example. The incentive: in Poland, you can ride off-road a lot and ride one of the highest sand dunes in Europe. We also visited the coolest military vehicle collector in the world there.
