Pas de La Graille, Lure Mountains – an Alpine pass gem in the heart of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department.

The Pas de la Graille is located in the south-west of the Alps, south of the town of Sisteron and slightly west of the A51 motorway leading to Marseille. It is one of several beautiful Alpine passes in this region, which lies in the shadow of the many better-known Alpine passes of the ‘Route des Grandes Alpes’.

Yet this Alpine pass in particular offers plenty of driving pleasure and little traffic. The route over the pass is just over 40 kilometres long, offers many curves of very different designs and many unique views of almost untouched landscapes.
