Colle delle Finestre, 2,178 metres high: gravel or tarmac, sightseeing or thrills?

The Colle delle Finestre offers two very different approaches. The western approach is tarmac-surfaced, not very steep and narrow. It’s a relaxed ride up to the pass summit.

The eastern ramp, on the other hand, is mostly gravel, winding and features several hairpin bends in the lower third. There are also access restrictions on the eastern ramp.
